2019 has been quite the year for singer, Ariana Grande. Grande has been breaking records left and right with her recent albums "Sweetener" and "Thank U, Next." Ariana is incredibly talented and she continues to prove it. The album "Thank U, Next" alone has broken so many records in the music business and her album "Sweetener" has won her her first grammy. After a rough year in 2018, losing her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, calling it quits with her former fiancé, Pete Davidson, and the Manchester, UK bombing that happened the year prior, Ariana is back on top. Releasing two studio albums in just about six months apart, and deciding to tour again for the Sweetener/Thank U, Next world tour she is unstoppable. Aside from her own tour, she is also headlining one of the biggest festivals in the country, Coachella.

Weekend one of Coachella took place this past weekend and fans were anticipating her headlining performance all weekend. Grande closed the show on the last night of weekend one, which by the way, Grande is the youngest artist to headline the festival and she is only the fourth female artist to do so prior being: Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Björk. Being under the pressure she must have, she delivered and went beyond fans' expectations.

There were a lot of surprises in store for her performance, including a few of her old songs that fans had already anticipated like "Break Your Heart Right Back" with artist, Childish Gambino, Nicki Minaj to perform their songs, "Side to Side" and "Bang Bang" together, but it doesn't stop there. Grande had brought Diddy and Mase to the stage as well to perform their song with late rapper, Biggy, "Mo Money Mo Problems." As well, Ariana had been posting a lot about the 90's boy band N*SYNC lately and brought them back together for a reunion at the Coachella stage.

On Ariana's most recent album, Thank U, Next, a song titled "Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored" samples a song off of N*SYNC's album "No Strings Attached" called "It Makes Me Ill." Once Grande started posting a lot about the boy band, fans started to speculate that she had something up her sleeve. On Sunday morning, the morning before she took the Coachella stage, it was basically confirmed that the group would join her on stage with Ariana and N*SYNC member JC tweeting at each other:

During her performance of "Break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored," she paused and introduced N*SYNC. All of them except for Justin Timberlake joined her for the festival to perform some 90's throwbacks, including "Tearin' Up My Heart."

Once again, just another moment to make everyone who wasn't at the festival wish they were. Coachella all around is such a big night for the music industry just full of surprises, Ariana's Coachella performance is definitely one for the books.
