YouTube is such a great platform, and as many of you probably know "YouTubers" are some of today's biggest influencers. To me personally, I would consider them to be celebrities even though that is such a big debate currently. YouTubers may not be actors, or singers, or your typical mainstream celebrities, but I think its about time they start getting the recognition they deserve. There is still a huge amount of work going into making just one YouTube video, (not to mention that they do this for a living so many of them post multiple times a week) and I don't think many people realize that. Some YouTubers do have production teams to help edit their videos and come up with content to create, but there is still so many of them that do it by themselves which takes a lot of time, effort, and creativity.

YouTubers are putting out just as much content as "regular celebrities," if not more. I know for me personally, and many of my friends, television and movies just don't cut it anymore. Any down time I have I'm catching up on all my favorite YouTubers and watching their new videos. I barely watch TV anymore. Theres something about the realness to YouTube that makes it more enjoyable to watch. Of course you're not getting someones everyday life in one video, but with the platform its kind of like being in an alternate reality or something, like you're living their life or hanging out with them. YouTube has almost become part of my daily routine, so today I thought I'd give you a glimpse as to which YouTubers I've personally been following and watching.

1). Carly and Erin (click here for their channel)

Carly and Erin are two of the most underrated YouTubers I watch, which is why I am starting with them. Some of you may know them from "The Vlog Squad." The Vlog Squad is a group of friends who all hangout and vlog together, otherwise known as David Dobrik's friends, (but they're much more than that.) Which I'm sure you have all heard of David Dobrik. Anyway, Carly and Erin are hysterical and so fun to watch. They have less of a following than some of the other members but they are undoubtedly so underrated. However, their subscriber count has skyrocketed throughout the past couple months and they are definitely a great channel. They post multiple times a week, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays which is awesome, definitely go check them out and subscribe! They also have their own separate vlog channels which you can find here (Carly) and here (Erin.)

2). Morgan Adams (channel)

Morgan Adams is another hysterical channel. She could be sitting on a floor for three hours doing nothing and I would still watch because her commentary alone is so funny. She recently gained a lot of popularity because of her sense of humor, but also because her brother and his fiancé, aka Shane Dawson (one of the most recognized YouTubers) are also big YouTubers. Everything Morgan says or does is relatable to so many young adults which is why I find her to be so funny. Definitely go check out her channel you won't be disappointed.

3). Zane Hijazi (channel)

Zane Hijazi is also a member of the Vlog Squad and is friends with Carly and Erin. They often make videos together and the three of them together is always a great video. They are all so funny and it just keeps building off one another. Once you get to know his friends through his videos, its like a reality TV show and you just invest so much time into watching their videos because you simply can't look away, and I mean that in the best way possible. He makes great content (even if its not always on his schedule.) When he does post its always a good laugh so if you like to laugh go check him out.

4). Jenna Marbles (channel)

Jenna Marbles, like Shane Dawson is another YouTuber that probably needs no introduction. She is a YouTube icon. She has been on the platform and making videos for over ten years, thats dedication. With almost 20 Million subscribers, it is clear that she still loves what she does. I can almost guarantee that with any video you watch of Jenna's you will laugh at least once. Jenna is someone I've been watching since she first started in her apartment in Boston, Ma filming on her macbook. She is easily one of my favorite YouTubers still so I had to include her of course. Go subscribe to her if you're not already.

5). Tana Mongeau (channel)

Tana, once again I'm sure you've heard the name at some point, or maybe TanaCon? Nevertheless, she is also incredibly funny. If you haven't caught on I love to be entertained. Tana some may say is a bit controversial, but that doesn't mean she's not good at what she does. She took a little bit of a hiatus after the whole TanaCon situation (if you haven't heard of it, check out this article from New York Magazine or Shane Dawsons YouTube documentary.) but, she's back now. You may have to watch a few of her videos to fully understand her humor, but following her and her friends is something you should do if you want some entertainment.

The list goes on and on for my subscription box, as mentioned before I have replaced TV with YouTube, any YouTuber you can think of, I'm probably subscribed. These were just five of the many that I enjoy watching. Go check them out if you are a YouTube junkie like myself and haven't already. Thanks for reading! Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?
